Ellie Sachs is an actor and filmmaker.
Her debut feature film, Lucy Schulman, in which she writes, directs, and stars will premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival in June 2026.
Previous projects include the short film Proof of Concept which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival and was subsequently acquired by the New Yorker. It is available to watch here. She co-created and stars in the digital comedy series, AD WORLD, which can be seen here. Ellie created and hosts the web series Where Should I Eat for Timeout NY.
Ellie is also an affiliated artist with Rehabilitation Through the Arts where she has directed and acted alongside inmates at maximum security prisons. Previous projects have been featured in The New York Times, Vanity Fair, The Guardian, and on CBS Sunday Morning, amongst others. She has received four Vimeo staff picks for her work.
