Ellie Sachs is an actor and filmmaker. Past projects include a collaboration with Planned Parenthood -- a dystopian futuristic exhibition, Museum of Banned Objects. She also remade Annie Hall starring senior citizens.
Ellie is an affiliated artist with Rehabilitation Through the Arts where she has directed and acted alongside inmates at maximum-security prisons. She got her start developing new plays and has worked at Clubbed Thumb, Williamstown Theatre Festival, and Playwrights Horizons. She has been awarded three Vimeo Staff Picks for shorts she has either starred in and/or co-written.
Her work has been featured in The New York Times, Vanity Fair, The Guardian, and on CBS Sunday Morning, amongst others. Ellie created and hosts the web series Where Should I Eat for Timeout NY.
